About Me (Lets break it Down!)

May 25, 2012 was my first blog post. So, I really haven't been at it for too long. Usually when I try new things I get bored easily. This was different. This became my passion very quickly. It scared me some. I finally knew what I wanted to do when I grow up.
My son had just turned 7 years old. I had a moment where I thought "where did the time go? And what have I done with it?" Of course raising my little guy was important. I get so much joy out of it. But what did I do that made me feel excited about life?
I had been doing my nails and anyone who said yes to me doing theirs as well. I posted some pictures on facebook of my nail art. My cousin Krystal (beautybykrystal) asked if she could post a couple designs on her blog. Of course I said yes! I was curious to see the response. It came back all positive. I remember feeling so happy that people enjoyed seeing it. Krystal then mentioned that I should start doing more designs and maybe even start a nail blog. That scared me! I didn't know the first thing about starting a blog! I had so many questions for her. She was so patient and answered every one of them.
At first I thought" if I could just get a couple people to look at my blog I will be good". But, if you start a blog they give you all this info on traffic sources. I was glued to that for about a month. It was all I could do to take my eyes off the computer screen! But, it was good that I watched it(maybe not so much) because I saw people searching for my posts! It was such a positive high. I had to have more!
The down fall to this (so far) is that my blog is always on my mind. I'm concerned if I need to post more or need to post certain things. Can I just do nail art? Should I do more reviews? So on and... so on...
But then I think. I GET to do all the above if I want to! And I love doing it all!
My goal is to keep this feeling of loving what I do. If I get more views or follows who gain something from my blog, then that would fall into loving what I do.
Love and positivity.
