New 2013 Winter Collections from Vivid Lacquer

Oh boy!
This is super exciting for me to share with you all!
I have always loved Vivid Lacquers products. Her stamping plates never disappoint. And her polishes are amongst some of the most popular Indie polishes out there.
So, I was ecstatic to be chosen to share her new winter line with you all. Due to be released tomorrow December 2.2013. With exception of the Pinup collab. Being released very soon.
Every time I swatched a polish,I didn't want to remove it. They are just stunning.
So,without further ado...

The first set of 3 collections is the As You Wish Trio.
From left to right

Next up is Not A Lot of Money in Revenge.

Last in this collection is The Sea After the Storm.

Hunger Games,Catching Fire Nails

My lovely friend is heading to the opening night of Catching Fire from the Hunger Games movie trilogy. She came over for Seahawks nails but mentioned she was heading to opening night of the movie. I leaped at the chance to do these nails.
My base is Sally Hansen Midnight in N.Y..
I then used the plastic wrap technique and layered my acrylic paint.
I blobbed on red paint then the dabbed the plastic wrap on top. I went over the the red with Orange and continued the same process.
Added Seche Vite top coat.
Then I hand painted on the mocking jay pin with white, gold, yellow and black acrylic paint.

Having read all the books and seen the first movie,I am very excited to see the next installment of the Hunger Games.
I hope you like these. Its been awhile since I have done nail art. It was so enjoyable to get really into these.

Blue And Green Friday! Rain City Nail Lacquer in Seattle Team Spirit!

I am super stoked to share this swatch with you all!!!
Our city is so very proud of the job our Seattle Seahawks are doing this season. Not only on the field but off as well. They are very involved in our community. And as a result, they have gained so many fans. I'm to say I am a 12th man!
Rain City Nail Lacquer has made us Seahawks/nail art fans a really wonderful polish.
Its called Seattle Team Spirit.
For this swatch I sponged on some neon green from my NFL Seahawks duo and my Morgan Taylor in All White Now.
Then topped it off with Rain City in Seattle Team Spirit.
Love,love,love this glitter!
large neon green hex, medium holo hex and small blue hex. Along with some white rectangles and diamond holo.

What do you think guys!?

Bloody Finger Prints using Vivid Lacquer Plate VL009

Today I have this awesome stamp from Vivid Lacquer to show you.
And being it is Halloween, finger print was a must.
The plate is VL009
I am also incorporating week 3 of Busy Girls Nails Fall Nail Art Challenge. Week 3 is Oxblood. And BeautyByKrystal and I are doing twinsie nails again. Check hers out below!

One coat of White. This is Morgan Taylor in All White Now
One coat of nude. This is Sally Hansen in Malt

For the blood effect I used Disney Villains collect.
Cruella De Vil and Mother Gothel

After dotting on some blood let it dry some then sponge on top to create texture.

These look so great! Looks like her cuticles are infected!

Nail Art Challenge/ Collab Twinsies Nails!

Krystal from beautybykrystal and I decided to team up and do a nail art challenge hosted by some fellow Instagramers. (Scroll down to see her beautiful creation!)This challenge is great for us moms who don't have to much time to do a daily nail art challenge.
Although I am crazy and am seriously considering a year long daily nail art challenge.
Here is their picture post from Instagram. Go follow these lovely women on Instagram.

Krystal and I both love paisleys. So that's what we picked!
We used Cheeky Jumbo Plate I.
Products I also used are...
Base white is Snow Me White by Sinful Colors
Sponged on Orly's Buried Alive, from the Villains Disney Collection Queen of Hearts, butter London in Bluey and OPI in Swimsuit Nailed It!
Stamped with Loreal in Because You're Worth It
You can see all 4 colors on the sponge in thin lines.
Two coats of sponge application.

Clean up with brush and acetone.

Top coat.

I love the way this gradient turned out. I cant get over it. I will definitely be creating this again very soon!

I then stamped randomly on the nail with the paisley pattern.

Twinsies!!
